General

Below is a summary of the categories of data that we process, the purposes of processing the data and on what legal basis we are processing your data. StrikeGo collects and processes personal data when you make a purchase on StrikeGo's website, use StrikeGo's support, visit StrikeGo's website or otherwise contact StrikeGo. The collection and processing of personal data is mainly for the conclusion of purchase agreements and the providing of services and offers. Our collection of data also occurs to enhance the overall customer experience by improving customer service, size advice and more efficient handling of matters and complaints. This policy is construed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018.

Customers

Contact details: If you make a purchase online we will collect your name, address, email address, telephone number, country of residence and title (Ms./Mr. or other title). We will use your contact information to (i) process your purchase/orders and any returns, exchanges and complaints you may have relating to your purchase; and to (ii) communicate with you regarding your purchase and to answer and administer any questions or comments you may have regarding our products or services.

If you request a digital receipt when purchasing our products in one of our physical stores, we will collect your email address in order to be able to send the digital receipt to you. This processing is necessary in order for us to be able to fulfill our contractual obligations to you.

If you have subscribed to our newsletters, we will also use your contact details to send out such newsletter, based on your consent. We may also process your contact details that you have shared with us when you have purchased a product, to keep you informed, via email or other messenger services, of our special events or promotions. This processing is based our legitimate interest of being able to market our products to our existing customers.

Credit card details: If you make a purchase online and chose to pay by credit card, you will provide your credit card information through our secure payment processor, Shopify, to finalize your purchase. For payment-enabled rings, your credit card details are tokenized via Fidesmo Pay, which acts as an intermediary between StrikeGo and the card networks and issuing banks (Visa/Mastercard schemes). Your full card details are never stored by StrikeGo. All payment data is encrypted and protected in accordance with PCI-DSS certification standards. The processing of your credit card details is necessary in order for us to be able to fulfill our contractual obligations to you.

Previous purchases and returns: We will store information regarding (i) your purchases and returns online, and (ii) your purchases and returns in physical stores, if you have provided your email address to our personnel. Such information encompasses product, size, price and date of purchase. This information is used to reference customer transactions and improve our service to you.

Anonymized data: We may also use anonymized data for our internal marketing and demographic studies to analyze, profile and monitor customer patterns in order for us to be able to improve our products and services.

Legal Basis for Processing

StrikeGo processes your personal data based on the following legal grounds:

  • Contract: For processing purchases, onboarding, token provisioning, and lifecycle management (e.g., suspend/resume tokens via the app).

  • Consent: For marketing (e.g., newsletters, promotions) and non-essential data like anonymized analytics.

  • Legitimate interest: For fraud prevention, support, and improving services (e.g., demographic studies), balanced against user rights.

Consent and Withdrawal

By accepting this privacy policy, you have confirmed that you have read and understood the content of this privacy policy, and that you, as applicable, consent to StrikeGo's processing of your personal data in accordance with the provisions herein.

Should you wish to object to, or withdraw your consent, to any of our processing, please contact us at [email protected]. Please note however that your withdrawal will not affect our right to process your data when such processing is necessary to perform our contractual obligations to you, and/or to the extent we are required to process your data by law or to defend ourselves in a dispute, to prevent fraud or abuse, or to enforce our Terms and Conditions. If you withdraw your consent to any consent-based processing, we will cease all such processing.

Does StrikeGo Share Your Information with Others?

StrikeGo does not sell or rent our customer's personal data to any other entity.

StrikeGo may share our customers' data with selected third-party processors who perform functions on our behalf, including:

  • Shopify: Our payment processor

  • Fidesmo Pay: Tokenization intermediary between StrikeGo and the card networks and issuing banks, enabling payments from your StrikeGo ring

  • Visa/Mastercard platforms: For payment tokenization services

  • Third-party logistics providers (3PL): For order fulfillment and delivery services

  • Device manufacturers: Are-con, our sole manufacturer for all rings

  • Analytics providers: For anonymized demographic studies and service improvements

  • Email service providers: To distribute newsletters and customer communications

All third-party processors must comply with applicable data protection standards, including PCI-DSS certifications where relevant. As necessary, the personal data you provide to us may be processed by these third parties, solely on StrikeGo's behalf and in accordance with StrikeGo's instructions as data processors. We do not authorize any of our suppliers to make any other use of your personal data.

Transfer of Data Outside EU/EEA

We may transfer your data outside the EU/EEA, for example through our payment processor Shopify, through Fidesmo Pay's connections to the global Visa/Mastercard digitalization platforms for payment tokenization purposes, and through other third-party service providers whose infrastructure or sub-processors may operate globally.

Any such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent measures as required by GDPR. Fidesmo operates within the EU (Sweden, Spain, Germany) and applies EU data protection standards to any international transfers it carries out on our behalf.

Data Retention

We will retain your personal information for as long as necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed:

  • Transaction data: Retained as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements

  • Newsletter data: Retained as needed to provide the service

  • Payment transaction data: Per Shopify rules, payment transaction data is sensitive and stored only in session memory (not persistently)

  • Token-related data: Tokenized card references are retained for the token lifecycle and deleted upon removal or replacement of the token

Data Subject (Customer) Rights

In this section, we have summarized your data subject rights to request access, rectification, erasure of your personal data, to restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and your right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

Right of Access

You have the right to obtain confirmation of whether personal data concerning yourself are being processed and, where that is the case, access to the personal data and information regarding, inter alia, the purpose of processing, the categories of personal data concerned, the categories of recipients to whom your data have been or will be disclosed, and the envisaged period of time for which personal data will be stored (or the criteria for determining this).

Right of Rectification

You have the right to request rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning yourself, and to complete incomplete data.

Right of Erasure

Under certain circumstances you are entitled to request that we erase your personal data or restrict our processing of your data, for example when it is no longer necessary for us to process your data taking into consideration the purposes for which they were collected.

Right to Objection - Direct Marketing and Profiling

You have the right to object at any time to processing of your personal data. When any of your personal data is processed in terms of direct marketing purposes you have the right to object to direct marketing, which includes profiling, to the extent that it is related to such direct marketing. If you object to our processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes, including profiling, we will cease such processing of your data.

Right to Lodge a Complaint with Supervisory Authority

Please note that if you consider the processing of your data to be in violation of applicable data protection laws, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence or the place of the alleged infringement.

How Do I Unsubscribe from StrikeGo's Newsletters and Emails?

If you do no longer wish to receive our newsletters or other emails, you can unsubscribe as indicated in the particular communication, i.e. by using the unsubscribe link which is included on all newsletters and other emails. You may also contact us at [email protected].

Is It Mandatory to Provide Personal Data?

When you purchase our products online, the provision of certain mandatory data is necessary for StrikeGo to be able to fulfill our contractual obligation to you, for example processing your order. When you purchase our products in our physical stores, you do not have to provide any personal data. The email address you provide when making a purchase or signing up is stored by StrikeGo and used to fulfill your order, communicate with you about your purchase, and, where you have given consent, to send you newsletters and promotional information.
